1. Introduction
TeamFeed (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a team communication application designed for youth baseball teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the TeamFeed application (the “App”) available at teamfeedapp.com.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially given that our platform serves families with minor children. We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your personal information with any third parties.

2.4 Technical Information
We may automatically collect limited technical information necessary for the App to function, including push notification subscription tokens and basic session data. We do not use analytics trackers, advertising SDKs, or third-party cookies.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to provide and improve the TeamFeed service:
- To create and manage your account
- To enable communication between team members (coaches, parents, guardians)
- To manage team schedules, events, and RSVPs
- To deliver push notifications and email notifications you have opted into
- To display team rosters and player information to authorized team members
- To provide event reminders based on your preferences
4. Data Sharing — We Do Not Share Your Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with any third parties. This is a core principle of TeamFeed. Specifically:
- We do not share data with advertisers or marketing companies
- We do not share data with data brokers
- We do not share data with analytics or tracking services
- We do not use your data for targeted advertising
- We do not sell aggregated or anonymized data
- We do not provide data access to any third parties for any commercial purpose
Your data is only visible to authorized members of your team(s) within the App, as governed by the role-based access controls described in Section 5.
5. Data Visibility Within Teams
Within the App, data visibility is controlled by user roles:
- All team members can see feed posts, schedule, chat messages, resources, and the roster (player names and jersey numbers)
- Parent/guardian contact information (email and phone) is only visible to coaches and team admins, and only when the parent has opted in via share toggles in their profile settings
- RSVP responses are visible to team members by player name; coaches see full details including who submitted the response
- Direct messages are visible only to the participants in the conversation
6. Children's Privacy
TeamFeed is designed for use by parents, guardians, coaches, and players on youth baseball teams. We take children's privacy seriously.
- Players aged 13 and older may create their own TeamFeed account and manage their own profile. Their account is linked to their player profile on the team roster.
- Children under 13 are not permitted to create an account. Player profiles for children under 13 are created and managed by their parent, guardian, or coach.
- Player profiles contain only a name, jersey number, and optional avatar photo.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that account and associated information promptly.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to TeamFeed, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
7. Third-Party Services
TeamFeed uses the following third-party services solely to operate the App. These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — Database hosting, user authentication, and file storage
- Vercel — Application hosting and delivery
- Brevo — Transactional email delivery (event notifications, post notifications) and authentication email delivery (signup confirmation, password reset)
- Google OAuth — Optional sign-in method (we receive only your name and email; Google does not receive any TeamFeed data)
We do not integrate with any advertising networks, social media trackers, or analytics platforms.
8. Data Storage and Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information:
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted in transit)
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext
- Database access is protected by Row Level Security (RLS), ensuring users can only access data for teams they belong to
- File uploads are stored in secure, access-controlled storage buckets
- Push notification tokens are stored securely and used only for delivering notifications you have opted into
9. Your Controls and Choices
You have control over your information:
- Share toggles: You can choose whether to share your email address and phone number with coaches via your profile settings
- Notification preferences: You can enable or disable push notifications, email notifications, event reminders, and set quiet hours
- Profile editing: You can update your name, email, phone, and avatar at any time
- Account deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us
10. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the TeamFeed service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to retain it by law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify users through the App or via email. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy indicates when it was most recently revised.
